Three means war.
Three sides vying for forever.

My first love.
The bad boy with the dangerous smile and passionate temper draws attention like a lit fuse on dynamite. But his dark molten eyes spark only for me.

My second chance.
Over six feet of Norse god in a tailored suit, he calculates every move and seizes my hungry breaths with an iron fist.

The free-spirited dancer, torn between two men with no resolution in sight.
I tried leaving, staying, refusing, and surrendering.
What options do I have left?

I love two men, and I do the only thing I can. I fight.

One is a Promise (Book 1)

Amazon | Other Retailers | Goodreads | Teasers

One promise.
One forever.

One look and I knew Cole was mine. My dark rebel in leather. My powerhouse of passion, devastating smiles, and impulsiveness.
When his job sends him overseas, he promises to return to me.
A promise that’s destroyed in the most irrevocable way.

Two years later, an arrogant suit invades my heartbroken loneliness.

Clean-cut and stern, Trace is everything Cole wasn’t.
At first, he’s a job that will rescue my dance company. But as he intrudes on my life, our hostile relationship evolves.
He knows I’m still in love with Cole, but his dedication is my undoing.

Then a catastrophic moment changes everything.

Promises resurface.
Lies entangle.
And an impossible choice shatters my world.

I love two men, and I can only have one.

Two is a Lie (Book 2)

Amazon | Other retailers | Goodreads

Two lies.
Two men who don’t share.

I never stopped loving Cole. Not when he left me. Not when he disappeared for three years. Not when he crashed back into my life in a violent explosion of testosterone and fury.
His sudden reappearance questions everything I thought I knew, including how I came to love another man.

Trace is an intoxicating breeze of seduction over ice. My rock. My second chance at forever.
And he’s committed to annihilating the competition.

The battle that ensues wrenches me back and forth between them.
Fighting and fucking.
Resisting and submitting.

Together, they entangle me in a web of lies, rivalry, and desire that weaves as deeply as their devotion to me.

I love two men, and if I can only have one, I choose none.

Release August 28th! PRE ODER HERE!: http://amzn.to/2vy2v0o

Thais Fenwick was eleven-years-old when civilization fell, devastated by a virus that killed off the majority of the world’s population. For seven years, Thais and her family lived in a community of survivors deep in the heart of the Appalachian Mountains. But when her town is attacked by raiders, she and her blind sister are taken away to the East-Central Territory where she is destined to live the cruel and unjust kind of life her late mother warned her about.

Atticus Hunt is a troubled soldier in Lexington City who has spent the past seven years trying to conform to the vicious nature of men in a post-apocalyptic society. He knows that in order to survive, he must abandon his morals and his conscience and become like those he is surrounded by. But when he meets Thais, morals and conscience win out over conformity, and he risks his rank and his life to help her. They escape the city and set out together on a long and perilous journey to find safety in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Struggling to survive in a world without electricity, food, shelter, and clean water, Atticus and Thais shed their fear of growing too close, and they fall hopelessly in love. But can love survive in such dark times, or is it fated to die with them?

“Thais,” I said, “I do think you’re beautiful. I just—.” I couldn’t force myself to say the things I really wanted: I want you to want this kiss, not because I’m the only man here to give it to you. But her heartfelt speech about todays and yesterdays and tomorrows and the very real possibility that there might not be another one, didn’t alleviate that thought—it only reinforced it.

In the end, after fighting with myself, all that mattered to me was what Thais wanted, what Thais needed. And if it was simply a kiss she asked of me, then I would do it. For her. Not for myself, though as much as I, too, wanted it, as much as I knew it would only make my own needs and wants more unbearable, I would endure the impending ache if it would ease hers.

I leaned toward her slowly; my eyes swept the curvature of her lips, the tiny hollow beneath her nose, and I touched the left corner of her mouth with my own.

The right corner.

The center.

The impending ache…

5 HUGE Stars for Ghosted by JM Darhower

Ghosted by JM Darhower – 5 Stars!

I know I say this with every books of hers, but really, this book was so fantastic! Perfection. Emotional and heartbreaking but SOOO sweet at the same time.

Ghosted tells the story of Jonathan Cunningham (aka Johnny Cunning) and Kennedy Garfield. They meet at the prestigious high school they’re both enrolled in. Kennedy just wants to get good grades and make something of herself. Johnny couldn’t care less about academics. He’s a gifted actor with stars in his eyes and dreams of leaving his life behind to act.

They meet. They flirt. They fall in love. They both leave school to move to Hollywood to chase Johnny’s dream of becoming an actor. But somewhere along the way, Johnathan lets the pressure and Hollywood life ruin the one good relationship he has and Kennedy fears she’s loosing herself too.

“You don’t know this, but that woman? Even as she smiles, she’s utterly terrified. Your love is more than enough for her, but she feels pieces of it slipping away. Something inside of her is disintegrating. Her dream. She’s losing it. She came here with you, not quite realizing what you were going through. You felt invisible, and you were desperate for an audience, but where does that leave your love? Because the more people who see you, it seems, the less you see her.”

He drinks. He does drugs. Kennedy leaves. And she’s pregnant.

Years go by, and after becoming a HUGE star and FINALLY getting clean, Johnny wants to be back in Kennedy’s life and meet the daughter he’s never even seen. Kennedy is of course reluctant and still angry, but little by little she lets Johnathan back in her life and their daughter’s, Maddie.

“I’m playing with fire, like I don’t remember how much it hurts to get burned, but from here, where I’m standing, all I can seem to feel is the warmth.”

I nod, looking down at my hands. “I wasn’t accusing you of cheating. I just wanted to know how long it took you to move on.”
“Oh, well, that’s an easy one,” he says. “It hasn’t happened.”

Besides the beautiful, perfectly done, slow burn rekindling of Johnathan and Kennedy’s love:

“I hate you. That’s it. There’s nothing else to say. I hate everything about you. Your voice, your face… I hate it. Why aren’t you going away?”
“Because I can’t,” I tell her, “and I’m pretty sure you don’t really want me to.”
She scoffs. “You’re upset,” I say, “but you’re lying to yourself if you think you want me gone.”
“I do.”
“You don’t.”
“Go away.”
“I’m not.” As soon as that last word leaves my lips, she’s on me, slamming into me, her lips pressing against mine. She’s kissing me, and I’m so fucking stunned that it takes me a moment to react, a moment to consider kissing her back. She moans and wraps her arms around my neck, clinging to me damn near aggressively as she kicks the door closed.

..the relationship Johnathan builds with his daughter was such a freaking treat to read. Maddie honestly stole the show. Every. single. time. they had a scene together I had tears in my eyes. And anytime this child opened her mouth, I was either laughing or clutching at my heart.

“Next time,” she says, just like that, no question about it.
“Next time,” I say.
“And soda, too,” she says.
“No soda,” Kennedy chimes in.
Madison glances at her mother before leaning even closer, damn near right up on me, whisper-shouting, “Soda.”
“I’m not so sure your mom will like that,” I say.
“It’s okay,” Madison says. “She tells Grandpa no soda, too, but he lets me have it.”
“That’s because you emotionally blackmail him,” Kennedy says.
“Nuh-uh!” Madison says, looking at her mother. “I don’t blackmail him!”
Kennedy scoffs. “How do you know? You don’t even know what that means.”
“So?” Madison says. “I don’t mail him nothing!”

How freaking cute is this kid??

There’s SOOOOO many more quotes I’d love to share, but I really highlighted almost this entire book and I’ll just give everything away. And I don’t want to spoil JM’s beautiful words.

But ok ok, just one more:

“What could be lonelier than always being by yourself?
Worse is loving someone who disappears and never knowing if they’ll come back. Because how do you move on if you’re not even sure they’re gone? The answer is—you don’t. When you spend most of your life chasing ghosts, eventually, you become one.”

GOD, that ^ is just brilliant. But I wouldn’t expect anything less from this author. She also has this amazing ability to tie up endings in such a perfect way you’re never left wanting (Well. I’m lying. I’m always wanting more books from her. I want her to do nothing but sit in a closed room and write 24 hours a day so when I finish a book of hers I have a new one to read immediately after. But that’s besides the point.)

I’m pretty sure by now people know of my obsession with JM’s work. If anyone asks me for recommendations, her books are usually the first ones I say. And this book will be no different. HIGHLY recommended for ANYONE who enjoys romance and second chances.

Ghosted is out TODAY!!

Throwback Fav ❤: Veiled Innocence by Ella Frank

“It wasn’t good. It wasn’t evil. It was just love.”

Throwback to one of my fav, actually no, this is definitely my favorite student/teacher romance.

I just love me a forbidden love story. But what I love even more is being so pleasantly surprised when picking up a book from an author I haven’t read before. It’s always a gamble not knowing what to expect or if I’ll like the writing or the author’s style, but Veiled Innocence was more than just a pleasant surprise – it was compelling, sexy, emotional, and I could not put it down. I DEVOURED THIS BOOK and loved every second of it.

Though the blurb doesn’t tell you so, this story is about a student, Addison, who seduces her teacher, Grayson. Addison is a heroine I wasn’t expecting. She was feisty, brazen, and was not scared to sink her claws into Grayson with no thoughts of consequence or remorse.

“But Mr. McKendrick… I knew he’d be different. He’d touch me the way I desired, and he’d take me the way I craved. Not like a boy—but like a man.”

She pursues him relentlessly with zero shame and Grayson, that poor man, never even stood a chance. Though he tries to fight off her advances, he eventually realizes he just can’t.

“Addison, it’s natural to form attachments to your teachers.”

“Is it natural to picture them fucking you?”

These two start an illicit affair, and through it all, you learn about Addison’s broken past and inner struggles, and start to understand why she seeks out her teacher- a man who seems to help calm the “madness” inside her and helps her finally feel at peace in what seems like, to her, forever.

“This afternoon. My place. Be there, and I’ll teach you the rest of the lesson.”

“Oh yeah?” she snapped at me. “And what’s that?”

Her anger didn’t leave her as her eyes wandered over me. When they came back to rest on my face, they were a stormy grey—from which emotion I couldn’t be sure, but it didn’t matter. Nothing could have stopped me.

“I’ll teach you how to come with a man inside you.” I removed my hand from the door and released the lock. “Not a boy, Addison, a man. Now go.”

The scenes between Addison and Grayson were INSANELY HOT. I am talking mouth dropping, panty-combusting, scorching hotness. This woman knows how to write one steamy scene.

“She was breathtaking. She was beautiful. I was in so fucking deep with her that no one could save me now.”

Ella Frank created two flawed characters and such unforgettable scenes that alternated between erotic and emotionally charged, which were all weaved into a beautiful forbidden love story.

“I never knew.” He took my lips in a kiss that was as tender as it was passionate before he spoke again in a state of astonishment. “I never knew that I’d risk everything, even my freedom, just to touch someone. Just to touch you.”

This story had everything I would have wanted in a forbidden student/teacher romance, but it is a love story first and foremost, and I cannot recommend it enough to all the hopeless romantics out there.

“No one ever told me that loving someone would feel like you were giving up every last part of yourself, but that’s how I feel, Addison. From the second I saw you, I was done. I gave it all to you.”

Want to read perfection? Then read The Sea Of Tranquility by Katja Millay ❤

I never really post about sales on the blog (usually only on FB) but when I saw that my most FAVORITE BOOK of all the books was on sale, I HAD TO share.

This book. This book is literal perfection. The most perfect book with the most perfect ending EVER. Click here to read my 5 star review!

The Sea Of Tranquility by Katja Millay ➜ http://amzn.to/2vG7u0B

READ IT! Devour it. Come thank me later 😉

“I lied,” I say, even though I’m lying now. “I told him you were mine.”

“Just so you know,” she says, her smile fading as her eyes lock onto mine. “You didn’t lie.”

“…maybe I’m a liar and I do need it, because being kissed by Josh Bennett is kind of like being saved. It’s a promise and a memory of the future and a book of better stories.”

“I love you, Sunshine,” I tell her, before I lose my nerve. “And I don’t give a shit whether you want me to or not.”

“And then he kisses me. Tentatively at first, waiting for something, but there isn’t any need. I would kiss him forever. I will kiss him forever. I know it like I know my own name.”

Royally Endowed by Emma Chase ❤ Review & Excerpt!

Royally Endowed (Royally #3) by Emma Chase – 4.5 Stars

I groan against her lips. “I burn for you, sweet girl. I dream of you, even when I’m awake.”

I adored this book!

For those who don’t know these characters, a quick summary: Logan is a bodyguard for the Royal family of Wessco who is assigned to look after Ellie, sister to Princess Olivia (from book 1, Royally Screwed). Ellie is quirky, energetic, and wants to live life at full speed.

Logan grew up around criminals and has tried to better himself by being a part of something honorable and noble. He’s smart, tough, amazing at his job, and it doesn’t hurt he’s not bad to look at.

“Logan St. James. Bodyguard. Totally badass. Sexiest guy I have ever seen—and that includes books, movies and TV, foreign and domestic. He’s the perfect combo of boyishly could-go-to-my-school kind of handsome, mixed with dangerously hot and tantalizingly mysterious. If comic-book Superman, James Dean, Jason Bourne and some guy with the smoothest, most perfectly pitched, British-Scottish-esque, Wessconian-accented voice all melded together into one person, they would make Logan fucking St. James.”

The fact that this man can snap someone’s neck and not break a sweat just….does things to me. Let’s not think too hard on what that says about me. But more on him below.

After years of watching over Ellie and seeing her grow into the lively woman she is, Logan has tried to ignore his attraction to her and Ellie’s blatant flirtatious stares and comments. Logan knows falling for someone he is meant to protect is completely off limits. But try as he may, he can’t deny his feelings and is tired of pretending she isn’t what he wants.

“I want you. I want you so much, some nights it feels like my skin is on fire. My bones burn with it.”
“Fucking hell—”
“I can’t think, I can’t eat . . . When I sleep, you’re all I see.” I rub my neck, and everything inside is needy and tight. “When I touch myself . . .”
“Christ, Ellie—” He sounds like he’s drowning.
“. . . you’re all I feel. You, Logan.”

I’m going to take a moment here to talk about Logan. Because, wow. What a fucking dreamboat. What a perfect male specimen. I LOVE heroes who take no shit but have a sweet spot for their girl.

“I’ll give it to you sweet, Ellie.” He breathes hard. “I swear I’ll make it so fucking sweet you’ll ache…but now I just…I need…”
My hips rotate and I’m rubbing myself up and down on the rock-hard length of his cock beneath his pants. My head thrashes. “I know. I know, Logan. Just take…please.”

“There are abilities I’m skilled at—familiar with—fighting and fucking, battles and weapons, sensing danger, and knowing how to keep those in my care safe from harm. But love . . . I’m ignorant of it. The word has never passed my lips, and the feeling is as alien to me as the sentiment. What I do know, what I’m sure of, is that I would die for Ellie. Kill for her, live for her. The vow echoes through me with every beat of my heart. She is the most important person in my life. She has been from the beginning, and she always will be. There will never be another. “

I’m not sobbing. There’s just something in my eye.

“I don’t know if I’ll be any fucking good at love. I’m not quite sure how it’s done. But, for her, I’ll learn.”

Okay maybe I am sobbing. Just a little. How perfect is he?????

Royally Endowed was a mix of sweet, sexy, funny and forbidden deliciousness. I def recommend this book even if you haven’t read the others in the series! (Click here for my review of Book 1 Royally Screwed and here for my review of Book 2 Royally Matched.)

P.S. I really really REALLY hope Tommy gets a book next!

Royally Endowed is out today! Keep scrolling for more book info and an excerpt!

Logan St. James is a smoldering, sexy beast. Sure, he can be a little broody at times—but Ellie Hammond’s willing to overlook that. Because, have you seen him??

Sexy. As. Hell.

And Ellie’s perky enough for both of them.

For years, she’s had a crush on the intense, protective royal security guard—but she doesn’t think he ever saw her, not really.

To Logan, Ellie was just part of the job—a relative of the royal family he’d sworn to protect. Now, at 22 years old and fresh out of college, she’s determined to put aside her X-rated dreams of pat-downs and pillow talk, and find a real life happily ever after.

The Queen of Wessco encourages Ellie to follow in her sister’s footsteps and settle down with a prince of her own. Or a duke, a marquis…a viscount would also do nicely.

But in the pursuit of a fairy tale ending, Ellie learns that the sweetest crushes can be the hardest to let go.
Logan St. James grew up on the wrong side of the tracks, in a family on the wrong side of the law. But these days, he covers his tattoos and scars with a respectable suit. He’s handsome, loyal, brave, skilled with his hands and…other body parts.

Any woman would be proud to bring him home to her family.

But there’s only one woman he wants.

For years he’s watched over her, protected her, held her hair back when she was sick, taught her how to throw a punch, and spot a liar.

He dreams of her. Would lay down his life for her.

But beautiful Ellie Hammond’s off-limits.

Everybody knows the bodyguard rules: Never lose focus, never let them out of your sight, and never, ever fall in love.

But then the mood shifts, as if the air becomes thicker, weighted, more . . . sultry.

Because slowly, Logan sinks down to one knee in front of me—looking in my eyes the whole time. In this position, I could touch his shoulders, comb my fingers through his thick, dark hair. He’s the perfect height for me to bend down and kiss his mouth—the perfect height for him to kiss me back . . . in a lot of places.

My breath hitches. And I wonder he feels it too.

There’s a sound of tearing Velcro, and Logan takes something off his ankle—a holster, with a small silver knife, about three inches long.

“Keep this on you all the time,” he says seriously. “Just in case. If you wear a skirt, the strap will fit around your thigh.”

And I almost laugh. Most girls get a ring from a guy on his knees. I get a murder weapon. But still, it makes me feel safe . . . watched over. Like I’m something precious that deserves to be protected.

I take the knife from him, testing the surprisingly solid, heavy weight of it in my hand. I press my index finger to the tip.

Logan grabs my wrist tightly. “Careful. It’s sharp.”

There’s a small, painless nick, a tiny bead of blood, so I put my finger in my mouth, sucking.

And Logan’s watching me again.

Watching my mouth.

His chest seems to rise just a little faster, and his throat ripples when he swallows. He bends his head, curves his strong back, and then I feel his hands on my ankle, securing the strap. His touch is warm and self-assured. It’s the way he always moves—confident and experienced. Logan knows his body and he knows how to use it, in every way possible.

I almost moan. The sound is in the back of my throat, but I keep it trapped. I never knew the ankle was an erogenous zone, but it sure as hell is now. A hot pulse of pleasure streaks from Logan’s fingers on my bare skin, up my thigh, between my legs.

And I throb there, growing swollen and heavy as he keeps his hands on me.

Can he tell? Does he know? He’s so aware of everything, always so attuned, I wonder if he can sense my arousal . . . feel it in the air that clings between us.

Review: Clockwork Prince (The Infernal Devices #2) by Cassandra Clare ❤

Clockwork Prince (The Infernal Devices #2) by Cassandra Clare – 5 Stars

“I never minded it,” he went on. “Being lost, that is. I had always thought one could not be truly lost if one knew one’s own heart. But I fear I may be lost without knowing yours.” – Jem

“I did it because I love you!” he half-shouted, and then, as if registering the shocked look on her face, he said in a more subdued voice, “I love you, Tessa, and I have loved you, almost since the moment I met you.” – Will

“I cannot explain love,” he said. “I could not tell you if I loved you the first moment I saw you, or if it was the second or third or fourth. But I remember the first moment I looked at you walking toward me and realized that somehow the rest of the world seemed to vanish when I was with you. That you were the center of everything I did and felt and thought.” – Jem

WHAT THE F*CK. This book, man. This played with my head and my emotions nonstop. This book made me fall even harder for the sarcastic, angel-faced, bad boy, Will. This also made me adore Jem. HARD. I thought he was incredibly sweet in book one, but this made me understand Tessa’s confusion between the two.

But my alliance? My alliance to Will is even stronger. I mean how can you not just obsess over him????? LOOK AT THAT FIRST QUOTE.

And just bravo to the author for writing the first book that contains a love triangle that I have read and didn’t hate. That has NEVER happened before. I avoid love triangles like the plague but something about this one just worked.

Reading book 3 RIGHT NOW!
