Review Of Confess by Colleen Hoover

Now that, ladies and gentleman, is how you write a book!!! Prepare yourselves, because Colleen Hoover is about to knock your freaking socks off!

Where do I even begin? Where do I find the words to express such perfection? How does she create these characters you INSTANTLY fall in love with? How will anything ever top this?!

It’s been a while since I started to read a book, and it sucked me in so much from the start that I wanted to bypass all human interaction until I was finished.

The way the concepts of confessions and fate were woven into the story was GENIUS. I love how the confessions mentioned throughout the story were actual confessions submitted by fans. I absolutely was in awe of the artwork that was featured. And I adored the inner monologues of Owen and Auburn. And the fact that their slight “insta-love” was so believable is a testament to the amazing-ness that is Colleen Hoover’s writing. The way she writes is simply flawless.

These characters she created were the most amazing, selfless, lovable characters I have ever come across. I really don’t have any other words to express my love for this book. IT WAS PURE PERFECTION.

And in the spirit of the confessions theme, here is mine: I kind of hate Colleen Hoover right now, because I truly don’t know how I am going to move on from this book. I may need to read this every day for the rest of my life. In the words of Auburn, I officially have an Owen hangover.
